The International Business Department of China Re P&C underwrites all classes of P&C reinsurance business with a focus on short-tail from all territories other than Mainland China as well as the Asia-Pacific Region. Effective January 1, 2017, the risk carrier of theinternational P&C reinsurance business written by the International Business Department has been changed to China Re P&C from China Re Group. The run-off business previously written on China Re Group’s paper will still be handled by the International Business Department.
